Adoption Practice Manager - Northamptonshire
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adoption Practice Manager to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire. This pivotal role involves overseeing the adoption services within our organization, ensuring that best practices are maintained while delivering high-quality support to children and families. As the Adoption Practice Manager, you will lead a team of social workers, guiding them in their practice and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the adoption service, ensuring compliance with national regulations and standards.
- Supervising and supporting social work staff, providing regular supervision and performance management.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, adoption agencies, and community organizations.
- Conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in adoption services or related fields.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
