We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in West Sussex. You will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments and interventions, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care, and working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in line with statutory requirements.
  • Providing support, guidance, and advocacy for children and their families throughout the care process.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly with children in care.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in challenging situations and make sound decisions.
