Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss cases and share best practices.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are engaged in the assessment and intervention process.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social work.
