Join our dedicated team in Darlington as an Assessment & Safeguarding Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. As a key member of our social work team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing safeguarding measures in line with statutory guidelines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of individuals and families in need of support. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that address the unique needs of clients. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Participating in training and continuing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience in safeguarding and a thorough understanding of relevant legislation are crucial for success in this role.
