Children's SW - Duty and Assessment Team - Lancashire
Join our dedicated team in Lancashire as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Duty and Assessment Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and investigations for children and families in need.
- Developing and implementing care plans that address the specific needs of children and their families.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services are provided.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and assessment processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
