Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Join our Family Safeguarding Team in Lancashire as a Children’s Social Worker. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing support and guidance through challenging circumstances.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support, advice, and advocacy to families in crisis. Managing a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
