Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Lancashire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As a Social Worker within the Family Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families. Working closely with other agencies and professionals to promote a multi-agency approach. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks related to child welfare.
