We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing cases, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their needs are met. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with local and national policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with other organizations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.

Join our dedicated team in Lancashire as a Children's Social Worker within the Duty & Assessment Team. We are seeking a passionate and qualified professional to help safeguard and promote the welfare of children and families in our community. In this pivotal role, you will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
