Join our dedicated team as a MASH Social Worker with Bury GM Collaboration, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding children and supporting families in our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-agency team, ensuring that vulnerable children receive the support they need in a timely and effective manner. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing cases, and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide holistic support to families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and families. Developing and implementing intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated support. Providing guidance and support to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities. Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage a caseload effectively.
