Contract: 6 Months (Maternity Cover)
Working Pattern: 3 Days Office | 2 Days Home Working
Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in the London Borough of Bexley.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within an Outstanding Ofsted-rated Children's Service, joining a busy and supportive multi-agency team that plays a vital role in safeguarding children and ensuring families receive the right support at the right time.
The Role
As a MASH Social Worker, you will be responsible for screening and assessing safeguarding concerns, gathering information from partner agencies, and making informed decisions to ensure children and families receive timely and appropriate interventions.
Working within a fast-paced multi-agency environment, you will:
Undertake MASH enquiries and risk assessmentsAnalyse information from a range of agencies and sourcesMake informed threshold decisions and recommendationsIdentify safeguarding concerns and respond appropriatelyWork collaboratively with partner agencies including health, education and policeEnsure children and families receive early help or statutory intervention where requiredMaintain accurate and timely case recordingsAbout You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
Social Work England registrationA recognised Social Work qualificationPrevious experience within Children's Social CareStrong assessment, analysis and decision-making skillsExperience within MASH, Referral & Assessment, Duty or Safeguarding teamsExcellent communication and partnership working abilitiesWhat's on Offer?
