We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - SCP Team in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families within the community. You will be working in a dynamic environment that values collaboration and innovation in child protection and welfare services.

As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Managing a caseload effectively and maintaining accurate records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child protection.
