Join our dedicated team in Leicestershire as a Children's Social Worker in the Post Order Team, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families during crucial transitions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that children placed in adoptive or permanent homes receive the best care and support possible. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth transitions and provide ongoing assessments to ensure children's needs are met in their new environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to support post-order placements. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, foster carers, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to adoptive families to ensure the well-being of children. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local and national standards. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.To thrive in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in post-order or adoption services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
