As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to ensure the best outcomes for children and families. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies to provide support and resources. Managing a caseload of children in need, including those on Child Protection Plans and Looked After Children. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and regulations.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working in children's services, with a solid understanding of child protection legislation and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
