Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Bedford, where your expertise will make a profound difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to support children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to thrive. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored care plans that promote the best outcomes for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and multi-disciplinary teams. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate available resources and services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with safeguarding and data protection policies. Participating in case conferences and meetings to advocate for the needs and rights of children.To be considered for this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
