We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Support team at BANES. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to families in need within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of families
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support families in achieving positive outcomes
  • Providing practical and emotional support to families, including parenting skills and behavior management
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to support
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations for ongoing support

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Experience working in a similar role within a social care setting
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
