We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team in Oxfordshire. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing effective support plans.
  • Conducting home visits and engaging with families to build trusting relationships.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
  • Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in children's services or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
