We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Family Help Team in Bedfordshire. As a Children's Social Worker in our Family Help Team, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

  • Conducting assessments and developing tailored support plans for children and families in need.
  • Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to families to help them navigate challenges and improve their circumstances.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and statutory requirements.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss progress and share best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload.
