Join our dedicated Locality Team in North Yorkshire as a Children's Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified individual who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work closely with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the needs of children and families. Carrying out home visits to monitor the welfare of children and provide support to families. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be considered for this position, you must have:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social work, preferably within a Locality Team setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
