Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family circumstances.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
  • Monitoring and reviewing progress, ensuring that interventions are effective and responsive to changing needs.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate support services and resources.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with families and colleagues.
