Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults? We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding team in Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse range of clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their rights and independence.

As a Social Worker in the Adult Safeguarding team, you will be responsible for:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals at risk, identifying their needs and safeguarding concerns. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals. Investigating safeguarding alerts and conducting inquiries in accordance with local and national policies. Providing advice and support to clients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions. Maintaining accurate and timely records of all interactions and interventions in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and professionals alike. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in safeguarding.
