Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection/Children in Need (CP/CIN) Team. As a Qualified Social Worker in our CP/CIN Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategies for safeguarding children.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within a child protection or children in need setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
