Join our dedicated team at Cheshire East as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in the Court Team, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality social work services, ensuring that the best interests of children are at the forefront of all decisions made in court proceedings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments and preparing court reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely. Working collaboratively with legal professionals, families, and other agencies to develop and implement care plans. Attending court hearings and presenting evidence to support the welfare of children. Providing support and guidance to families navigating the court process. Maintaining case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., degree in social work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and court work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
