We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable adults in need of safeguarding services.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and vulnerability of adults in need. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and service providers to coordinate support services for clients. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the adults under safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working in adult safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex and challenging situations. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-focused approach to casework.

In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in mental health, substance misuse, or working with older adults will be highly regarded.
