The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in a locality team setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social care.
