Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and case reviews to promote best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection, preferably within a MASH setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities to assess complex situations.
