The City of Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of adults in our community. You will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable adults, conducting assessments, and delivering high-quality social work services in a collaborative environment.

As a member of the MASH Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the needs and risks of adults in vulnerable situations.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive safeguarding responses.
  • Developing and implementing support plans in line with individual needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in case reviews and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience working in adult social care, particularly in safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency framework.
