As a Children's Social Worker in our Fostering Team, you will be responsible for:

Assessing and supporting foster carers to ensure the best outcomes for children. Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to inform care planning. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster placements to promote stability and positive development. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in fostering or adoption. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in safeguarding and child welfare.
