Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Walsall as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children's Services. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting families to achieve positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Carrying out home visits and engaging with children, parents, and caregivers to build trusting relationships. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate support and interventions. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.

Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Walsall as a Children’s Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a qualified social worker, you will work collaboratively with families, local agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to provide support and intervention, ensuring that children are protected and families receive the necessary resources to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote the welfare of children.
