To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
