  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, promoting their emotional and social development.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and agency policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, MA Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
