Join our dedicated Children's LP - CP Team in South Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of protection and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children in need and those subject to child protection plans. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change and stability. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and decisions.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
