Join our dedicated MASH Team in Newham as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. As part of our multi-agency safeguarding hub, you will work collaboratively with partner agencies to assess and respond to concerns about children at risk. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
