In this role, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Preparing and presenting court reports and evidence to support child protection proceedings. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including legal professionals, to ensure cohesive case management. Developing and implementing intervention plans that promote the welfare and safety of children. Engaging with families and stakeholders to facilitate positive change and support.To be considered for this position, you must hold a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess:
Experience in child protection or court work, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with attention to detail.
