Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and their families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
