We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Advanced Practitioner (AP) to join our Child in Care (CIC) Team in Coventry. This role is essential for ensuring the well-being and development of children in care, providing high-quality support and intervention to children and their families. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with social workers, families, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading assessments and reviews for children in care, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Providing expert guidance and support to social workers, enhancing their skills and knowledge. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders. Monitoring and evaluating the progress of children in care, making necessary adjustments to care plans. Participating in multi-agency meetings and fostering strong relationships with external partners.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly within a child in care context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
