Join our dedicated Family Help Team as a Children's Social Worker (SSW) in the beautiful region of Cambridgeshire. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure children are supported and safeguarded, while promoting their well-being and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families. Providing advice, guidance, and support to families facing challenges. Working closely with other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share insights.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
