The City of Westminster is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team. This role is vital in providing high-quality support and intervention for adults experiencing mental health challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of service users and develop tailored support plans.

  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within mental health settings.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload independently.
