Rutland's Safeguarding Team is seeking a qualified and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their wellbeing within the community.
As an Adult's Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive support. Conducting safeguarding investigations in accordance with local and national policies. Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding best practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
