Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children's Services. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people in our community. Your expertise will be essential in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to families in crisis. You will play a key role in safeguarding vulnerable children and promoting their welfare, working closely with other professionals to deliver high-quality services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legislation and local policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders, promoting best practices in safeguarding.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
