We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Safeguarding to join our team in Northamptonshire (Daventry). In this crucial role, you will be responsible for protecting vulnerable individuals and ensuring their safety and well-being. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding plans, working collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks in accordance with safeguarding policies. Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies to safeguard children and vulnerable adults. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health care providers, educators, and law enforcement. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families to promote stability and well-being. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding, child protection, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
