Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Team in Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Safeguarding and Child Protection (SP-CP). This is an exciting opportunity for passionate professionals committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. You will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their well-being, working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver effective interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing child protection plans in line with local authority policies. Engaging with children and families to support their development and address any safeguarding concerns. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
