Social Worker - Court Team - Nottinghamshire

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Court Team in Nottinghamshire. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, focusing on providing support and intervention to families involved in the legal system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, preparing reports, and representing the interests of children and families in court proceedings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings in court.
  • Collaborating with legal professionals, other social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Developing and implementing intervention plans aimed at safeguarding children.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in court work and knowledge of child protection legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
