The London Borough of Merton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Locality Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and reviews of adult service users to identify their needs and develop tailored support plans.
  • Working with individuals, families, and other professionals to facilitate effective interventions and promote independence.
  • Managing a diverse caseload, ensuring compliance with local and national policies and procedures.
  • Providing advice and guidance to service users, their families, and carers, empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in adult social care, preferably within a locality team.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
