We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work – Children in Care (CIC) Team in Peterborough. This vital role involves working with children and families to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children in care. You will play a key role in supporting vulnerable children, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to create a positive impact on their lives.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and maintaining accurate case records. You will engage with children, families, and other professionals to promote the best outcomes for children in care. Additionally, you will be responsible for attending court hearings and providing reports as needed, ensuring that the voice of the child is heard and considered in all decisions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation, safeguarding policies, and relevant frameworks is essential. You should also demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
