We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SP - CIC Team in Walsall. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Working closely with children, families, and external agencies to ensure effective support systems are in place. Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate and timely records of interventions and outcomes. Participating in court proceedings, presenting evidence and reports as required. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Social Work degree or equivalent qualification. Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in looked-after children and care proceedings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
