Join our dedicated team in Leicestershire as a Children’s Social Worker (SSW) within the CP/Court Team. We are seeking a passionate and qualified individual to support vulnerable children and their families through challenging circumstances. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Attending court hearings and providing expert testimony as required. Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation. Engaging with children, families, and external agencies to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a children’s social work setting, particularly in child protection and court processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
