Join our dedicated Children's Assessment/Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Qualified Social Worker. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in the community. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with families and other agencies to provide the necessary support and interventions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans.
  • Working closely with families, schools, and external agencies to coordinate services.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with children and families.
