The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team. Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.

  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively.
