Join South Gloucestershire Council as an Advanced Social Worker in our Adults Services team, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable adults within our community. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and risks. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Providing guidance and support to junior social workers and other team members. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Engaging with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team capacity and service quality.To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent), be registered with Social Work England, and have substantial experience in adult social care. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of safeguarding practices.
