We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Recovery Team in Southend-on-Sea. This role is pivotal in supporting adults facing various challenges, including mental health issues, substance misuse, and social isolation. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial part in promoting recovery and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and strengths.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective service delivery.
  • Monitoring and reviewing clients' progress, adapting care plans as necessary.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in adult social work, particularly in recovery-focused practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
