Join our dedicated Children in Care Team in Cheshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding vulnerable children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children.
  • Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and court proceedings as required.
  • Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection, safeguarding, or working with children in care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
