We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker or Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team in Harrow. As a Senior SW/QSW in the CIN Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing guidance and support to junior social workers and other team members.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIN or safeguarding context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with families and professionals.
